2 Color Linen Stitch

Sample knit with fingering weight yarn on US 7 needles

Even number of stitches (Multiple of 2)

Stitches should be slipped purlwise

I recommend using one color to cast on, then the opposite color to begin knitting the pattern.  When binding off, use the opposite color that was used for the last row of the stitch pattern.  Doing this for the cast on/bind off will prevent a chunk of color along the edges.

You can use 2 solid colors, or switch it up by using a solid with a variegated yarn.

COLOR A:
Row 1: *K1, Sl 1 wyif*
Row 2: *P1, Sl 1 wyib*

COLOR B:
Row 1: *K1, Sl 1 wyif*
Row 2: *P1, Sl 1 wyib*

Repeat these four rows for the pattern.

Happy Knitting!

I love your videos and the different patterns. Do you have any where you knit in the round?

tracyb I generally don't do videos for the stitches worked in the round, but here is a link with a tutorial for changing stitches to be worked in the round http://www.sapphiresnpurls.com/2012/02/converting-flat-stitch-patterns-for.html
