Row 1: k1, p3

Row 2: k3, p1

Row 3: k1, p3

Row 4: k3, p1

Row 5: k1, p2tog, yo, p1

Row 6: k3, p1

Repeat these six rows for the pattern.

The edges do curl due to the panels of stocking stitch along the sides, so depending on how you plan to use the stitch, you may want to add a seed or garter stitch border.

Row 1: k1 *yo, k1; repeat from * to last st, k1

Row 2: k1, p to end, k1

Row 3: k1 *k2tog; repeat from * to last st, k1

Rows 4-5: k1 *yo, k2tog; repeat from * to last st, k1

Rows 6-7: k

Working all 7 rows of the pattern makes a reversible fabric.  If you want a fabric with a right and wrong side, omit Row 7 and begin the pattern again after the sixth row.
