Sample knit with DK weight yarn on US 6 needles

Multiple of 2

Row 1 (rs): k1 *knit each stitch, wrapping the yarn twice; rep from *, end k1

Row 2: k1 * slip next two stitches to the right needle, dropping the extra wraps; with left needle, pick up the second stitch on the right needle and pass it over the first and place on left needle.  Then insert the tip of the left needle into the front leg of the stitch on the right needle and knit through the back loop.  Knit next stitch on left needle; rep from *, end k1

Reversed Cross Stitch

Depending on how you plan to use the stitch, you may want to add at least two extra stitches to the multiple (one edge stitch for the beginning and end of each row) to make working Rows 1 and 3 easier.  I have added the edge stitches in my sample above as shown in the video, however there are no edge stitches represented in the instructions below.

Openwork Checkerboard Stitch

Moire Stitch

Depending on how you plan to use the stitch, you may want to consider adding a few extra stitches for a border to neaten up the edges, and make it easier to work the sl 1-k1-yo-psso at the beginning and end of Rows 1 and 3.

Slipped stitches are slipped purlwise.  Pattern begins on right side.

Multiple of 2

Rows 1 and 3: *sl 1, k1, yo, psso both the k1 and yo

Rows 2, 4 and 6: purl all stitches

Row 5: knit all stitches

Hunter's Stitch

 

Depending on how you plan to use this stitch, you may want to add a border to help keep the fabric flat; since the sides are stocking stitch, there is curling.  Also, knit a row before beginning the stitch pattern if you are aren't incorporating this stitch into a project where there are already stitches in the row below to work into.  Since you are working into the stitch below right from the first row, you need a stitch to work into.

Multiple of 11 + 4

Row 1 (rs): *p4, (k1b, p1)x3, k1b; rep from *, end p4

Row 2: k4 *p1, (k1b, p1)x3, k4; rep from *

You may want to add a border, or work this stitch in between other stitch patterns; because of the rows ending/beginning with slipped stitches being passed over, the edges are not even or neat.  Another option is to work the uneven edges in as a design feature, to use as buttonholes perhaps.

Little Diamond Stitch

Multiple of 3 + 2

Row 1 (rs): *p2, yo, k1, yo; end p2
Row 2: k2 *p3, k2
Row 3: *p2, k3; end p2
Row 4: *k2, k3tog; end k2

**If you struggle with k3tog, here is an alternative method:  k2tog, slip the resulting stitch back to the left needle, pass the second stitch on the left needle over; then slip the stitch back to right needle.
