Hunter's Stitch

Depending on how you plan to use this stitch, you may want to add a border to help keep the fabric flat; since the sides are stocking stitch, there is curling.  Also, knit a row before beginning the stitch pattern if you are aren't incorporating this stitch into a project where there are already stitches in the row below to work into.  Since you are working into the stitch below right from the first row, you need a stitch to work into.

Multiple of 11 + 4

Row 1 (rs): *p4, (k1b, p1)x3, k1b; rep from *, end p4

Row 2: k4 *p1, (k1b, p1)x3, k4; rep from *

Repeat these two rows for the pattern.

Chain Stitch Rib Knitting

Sample knit with DK yarn, US 7 needles - Front

Wrong side - looks pretty cool!

Multiple of 3 + 2

Row 1 (ws): k2 *p1, k2
Row 2: p2 *k1, p2
Row 3: k2 *p1, k2
Row 4: p2 *knit into stitch 3 rows below next stitch on left needle, drop all sts above from left needle, p2

*When working into the 3rd stitch below, gently pull on the strands after dropping off the left needle to make sure the strands are straight.  You can also go back after the row is finished and straighten the strands if necessary.

Raindrop Stitch

Sample knit with worsted weight yarn on US size 8 needles

This stitch makes a subtle texture on stocking stitch.  You may want to consider a border all around to help the fabric lay flat, depending on how you plan to use the stitch.

And yes, I made a mistake in the video.  On the last row near the end, I forgot to slip the new stitch to the left needle to knit it again - sorry!

Multiple of 4 + 1

Rows 1 and 3 (WS): purl

Row 2: k1 *knit into next stitch in the row below, but don't drop original stitch from needle; slip new stitch back to left needle and knit it again, knit original stitch, then pass the new stitch over the stitch just knit, k3

Row 4: k3 *knit into next stitch in the row below, but don't drop original stitch from needle; slip new stitch back to left needle and knit it again, knit original stitch, then pass the new stitch over the stitch just knit, k3; repeat from *, end k1

Happy Knitting!

Bee Stitch in Two Colors

Sample knit with Debbie Bliss Amalfi on US Size 7 needles

This is just like single color Bee Stitch, except you will use a second color.  Very easy!

K1B is knit into the stitch below.  You may need to pull gently on your fabric to get into the stitch below - take a look at the next stitch on your left needle.  Then look right below it, and you will see the stitch below.  This is what you want to knit into.

Multiple of 2 + 1

Cast on with A
Knit two foundation rows.  This is the only time you will work these two rows.  After the foundation rows have been knit with color A, you will switch to your second color and begin the pattern as below.

Begin pattern:
Row 1: (B) K1 *K1B, K1*
Row 2: (B) Knit
Row 3: (A) K2, K1B *K1, K1B* end with K2
Row 4: (A) Knit

Repeat these four rows for the pattern.

Here is the video.  Happy Knitting, and Enjoy!
