Folk Lace

Sample knit with Red Heart worsted weight yarn on US size 9 needles

Depending on what you are knitting, I would recommend adding some extra stitches to neaten up the edges of the fabric, and maybe even knit a few rows before beginning the pattern, to prevent curling.

Cast on a multiple of 8 stitches, plus 5

Row 1: Knit (worked only to begin pattern, and not included in the repeat)
Row 2 and all even numbered Rows: Purl
Row 3: K2, K2tog, YO *K1, YO, (SKP, YO) 2 times, Slip 1, K2tog, PSSO, YO* End with K1, (YO, SKP) 3 times, K2
Row 5: K4 *(YO, SKP) 3 times, K2* End last repeat with K3
Row 7: K5 *(YO, SKP) 2 times, K4*
Row 9: *K6, YO, SKP* End last repeat with K5
Row 11: K4 *K2tog, YO, K1, YO, SKP, K3* End last repeat with K4
Row 13: K3 *K2tog, YO, K1, YO, SKP, YO, SKP, K1* End last repeat with K3
Dont forget Row 14 - Purl!

Repeat from Row 3 for pattern

And here is the video.  Happy Knitting, and Enjoy!
