Miniature Leaf Lace I

Sample knit with Araucania Ruca on US Size 6 needles

This is a pretty lace stitch that isn't too complicated.

Note:
  • Sl 2 Knitwise - K1 - P2sso = Slip the next two stitches together as if to knit, knit the next stitch, pass both of the slipped stitches at the same time over the knit stitch (this gives you a nice, centered double decrease)
  • SSK = Slip the next stitch knitwise, Slip the next stitch either knitwise OR purlwise, knit them together through the back loop.   (Slipping the second stitch purlwise is my preferred method, you should do whichever you feel most comfortable with)

Cast on a multiple of 6 + 1

Row 1 and all Wrong Side Rows: Purl all stitches
Row 2: K1 *K2tog, YO, K1, YO, SSK, K1*
Row 4: K2tog *YO, K3, YO, Sl 2 Knitwise - K1 - P2sso *, end last repeat with SSK
Row 6: K1 *YO, SSK, K1, K2tog, YO, K1*
Row 8: K2 *YO, Sl 2 Knitwise - K1 - P2sso, YO, K3*, end last repeat with K2

And here is the video.  Happy Knitting and Enjoy!
