hi. I found your site while googling the scallop stitch and your video is awesome. I was wondering if you could help me with a variation. I could do your version easily, but I would be interested in a wider version. I am trying to replicate some work of my grandmothers. She used this stitch but with twice as many verticals in the curvature of the scallop. Sorry, I hope you understand my meaning. I have a picture but can't attach in comments. Would be happy to share picture if you would be willing to share your email address. Mine is stormchasingdog@yahoo.com. I would so appreciate your help. Yours is the only tutorial on the web that I could find thus your help with the variation would be invaluable to me. My grandmother gave me a newborn blanket using this stitch in vertical alternating colored stripes and 24 years ago for my son when he was born. Now that I am preparing for grandchildren of my own, I would like to carry on the tradition. It became my sons favorite blanky. And I want to create another for the next generation. Please help me do that. Thanks so much.

Suzanne, you can send a picture to sapphiresnpurlsknitting@gmail.com. I'll take a look and see if I recognize the stitch that was used.
